Tim Trotter
Organizational Design & Strategy Expert
Tim Trotter is president of VerseOne, Inc., a Homer Glen, Ill., based business development organization. Trotter is an affiliate of Excalibur Edge LLC, and a certified provider of organizational assessment and human development processes. He works with results-oriented companies in visioning, strategic planning and executive coaching.
Trotter instructs several other human asset development processes for clients. Trotter has provided support to Fortune 100 companies and smaller entrepreneurial companies within agriculture, education, healthcare, non-profit, manufacturing and marketing.
Prior to VerseOne, Inc., Trotter’s experience included visioning, short and long-term strategic planning, human relations, creation of consumer awareness programs, marketing and sales initiatives, and selection and oversight of external marketing communications firms. The following accomplishments are especially relevant to his performance:
- Formed one of North America’s most diverse marketing companies to sell and distribute premium greenhouse produce nationwide.
- Served as an officer of the National Corn Growers Association, where he supervised development of a strategic plan and implemented a restructure to increase productivity and cost efficiency. He helped developed a commercialization effort to persuade corporations to invest resources for the creation of new corn markets and was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to the Ag Policy Advisory Committee which reported directly to the Secretary and U.S. Trade Representative.
- Conceived and started Foundation E.A.R.T.H., an organization dedicated to the development of technology to promote environmentally sound farming practices.
As a professionally trained and seasoned media spokesperson, Trotter has conducted presentations for reporters and editors of most agricultural trade publications and many consumer broadcast outlets and publications that include Time, Newsweek, the Chicago Tribune, New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post and Christian Science Monitor.
Trotter also served on the boards of directors for the Ill Corn Growers Association, National Corn Growers Association, Renewable Fuels Association, Sweetener Alliance, Degradable Plastics Council, Foundation E.A.R.T.H., and US Grains Council. |
