David F. Salzwedel
Lean Solutions and Strategy Expert

Dave Salzwedel spent most of his career in a traditional corporate environment, working for small, local firms, mid-sized and international companies. Industry experience includes telecommunications, power, call center, information technology, and consulting. His past management and executive positions include project manager, manager, director and vice president, and he currently holds several outside boards of director positions. He founded a human asset development company, Excalibur Edge in 2001, and has extensive experience in public speaking and facilitation.  

Other facets of his career include writing a regular business column in the Appleton Post-Crescent newspaper, and he has published articles nationally. His affiliations include:

Salzwedel is a former S.C.O.R.E. counselor for entrepreneurs and new business startups and is the founder and Executive Director of Strategic Alliance Network for Executives (S.A.N.E.). Additionally, Dave holds the following certifications:

• Six Sigma-Green Belt and in Lean/DFSS from Aveta Business Solutions
• Lean Tools and Lean Lead from Milwaukee School of Engineering (M.S.O.E.)
• Strategic Planner from LBL Strategies, Inc.

Salzwedel also participates as an adjunct faculty instructor of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, is a board member for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (minor league baseball team) and does local volunteer work
