Bob Webster
Brand & Creative Expert
Bob Webster, co-founder and vice president of VerseOne, has spent over a quarter century applying creative solutions for his clients. After an education in art, architecture and graphics at the University of Illinois, Bob worked with fortune 100/500 companies including IBM, Motorola, Aon, DuPont, Ernst & Young Britannica and Wrigley designing, developing and managing business systems.
After returning to the graphics and design
world, Bob began to offer creative and technology services exclusively to the small business. "The small business can be at a disadvantage when it comes to getting professional expertise, especially trying to find a trusted source that understands their business," says Webster. "With VerseOne, we've all been there as business owners and, because of our experience, we can take our clients as far as they want to go without the price tag of a large firm.
From a design perspective, whether Bob is helping a client reinvent their image or build upon an existing one, it is all about working with clients through dialog, research and collaboration. "Our clients have great passion for what they do. We work with so many different industries, our job is not to become experts in their business, but partners who can help them see their business in a unique light. We bring the resources and knowledge to examine their market, competition, assess clients, etc., then help them with decision making and bring out the best they have to offer through visual material."
Some of Bob's accomplishments include:
- Designing and developing an interactive disability rating system for the city of Los Angeles.
- Designing transit routes for an automated tracking system for U.S. counties on the east coast.
- Developing process modules for IBM and their manufacturing systems.
- In 1999, designing knowledge management products for a Lombard, IL software startup.
- In 2000, founding Bosco Graphics, a Homer Glen, IL based design firm.
